I have been looking for many years for my family,who was from Kings Lynn.Up until 1851 that I know of they were there.I will email what I have if anyone is interested.Too much to type in here.But there was Charles born in 1796 on Totington,wife:Mary born in 1801 in Watton, who had 3 sons Charles,born in Ashill,in 1828, George who was born in Ashill in 1840,and John my gggreat grandfather who was born in1846.Their address for the Census was Swaffham there was an article called the "EAST ANGELICAN FAMILIES".John was married somewhere over there before he came to the United States in 1873,her name was Harriett,that is all I know of her except they say she was very tiny.When they got here she died right after that from consumption.She was buried on a hill in McKinney,Texas away from any of the other family I guess back then they thought a deceased person could catch it,she was buried in the black section of the cemetary.If anyone knows any of the Ashby'please let them know I am looking for them and would love to hear from them..Thank you for reading this.Carmella P.S.I DO NOT KNOW IF 2 OTHER ASHBY'S WERE CHARLES BROTHERS OR NOT,there was a James born in 1813 in Terrington,wife Mary born in Necton in 1809.John born in Terrington in 1810 wife Mary born in 1814 in Grimstone.
