This is not the first bad story we've heard about the new junction, and I've passed the comments on to the Highways Agency and the County Council.

To be quite honest, I still don't know why the road wasn't completed as it was originally designed -- it seems bizarre to have two slips that *could* be used to exit the A47 if travelling from the West.

On a personal note, I've had so many near misses in the past with people cutting you up (due to poor lane markings, etc.) and the general congestion, I do everything I can to avoid the junction -- I strongly suspect I'm not the only one, and I wonder how much trade the town loses out on as a result? (so, for example a friend in Downham would rather go to Cambridge than Lynn)
