Not to me. If most of the traffic isn't going straight on, then it isn't the place for a flyover.
A flyover with slip roads is a very common junction in France on roads that are otherwise 2 lane, and they seem to manage with a great deal less hassle than we get on the wonderful Hardwick roundabout and it's stunningly stupid new flyover
